Student Loans

First Presbyterian Church has a student loan fund. This fund was established by Frances and Mai Priddy who wished to support students' financial ability to attend college. Loan recipients formally agree to pay back the loan upon completion or termination of their education, so that future students may benefit from the same support.

IT IS THE MISSION of the First Presbyterian Church Student Loan Committee to encourage students to further their education by providing financial assistance through loans to students for tuition and other educational program expenses during the time of their schooling.

How to Apply

The Fund is administered by the First Presbyterian Church Student Loan Committee, which meets between mid-April and early-May each year to consider applications. Students are asked to submit their applications by April 28. Any student pursuing higher education through academic, vocational, or graduate studies within an accredited post-secondary eduation institution may be eligible to apply for a FPC Student Loan. The Student Loans are awarded based on academic merit, community service, letters of recommendation, and financial need.
