Monthly Luncheon Meeting Schedule 2014

Sept 3                 Glenn Winters, the Community Outreach Director for the Virginia Opera will entertain us with stories and information relative to the upcoming opera season and share some delightful tidbits from Sweeney Todd, the first opera of the season.  Virginia Living Magazine characterizes Glenn as the company’s resident funny man, who has a quirky approach to music education so this proves to be an enjoyable event.

Oct 1                  Docents from the Virginia Zoo will entertain you with live animals.  They will bring three or four of their "education” animals ( relatively tame animals which regularly go on outings to schools and churches) and will talk about each, their habitats and their habits.  Children from FPC PreSchool will be invited to the program portion of the event.  I know you will enjoy their sweet curious faces as they get to handle and pet them.

Nov 5                 Air & Space Museum Talk & Demo:  Technical Marvels

Dec.3                 The Virginia Chorale Celebrates Christmas
