WE ENVISION increasing average worship attendance by 20% by 2015 and 35% by 2017 with an emphasis on developing continued growth of young adults with 200 active worshippers in that age range by 2017.

Foundational Concept of Enjoy the Worshipful Life:  Worship is at the heart of the Christian life, and equally important, the Christian community.  Seeing worship attendance grow is critical for a growing, healthy church.  Likewise, the young adult age group is the missing link in most congregations; it is a demographic that we must intentionally reclaim.

Q.  What is a young adult?  A.  For the purpose of this goal, a young adult is 20-29.

Q.  Why such an emphasis on young adult worship attendance?  A.  Young adults are rapidly disappearing from churches in America, much more quickly than any other demographic.

Q.  Why measure worship attendance instead of membership?  A.  Worship attendance is a better assessment of church health than membership.
