III. Enjoy the Worshipful Life
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth. (John 4:23-24)
WE ENVISION increasing average worship
attendance by 20% by 2015 and 35% by 2017 with an emphasis on developing
continued growth of young adults with 200 active worshippers in that age range by
2017.
Foundational Concept of Enjoy the Worshipful Life: Worship is at the heart of the Christian life, and equally important, the Christian community. Seeing worship attendance grow is critical for a growing, healthy church. Likewise, the young adult age group is the missing link in most congregations; it is a demographic that we must intentionally reclaim.
Critical Questions for Goal III
