Park Place Child Life Center
Park Place Child Life Center (PPCLC) is a ministry outreach to the children who live in the Park Place neighborhood of Norfolk, Virginia, about two miles from First Presbyterian Church. PPCLC shares the transforming love of Jesus with inner-city children throughout the week when volunteer partners in ministry help with homework, tutoring, and art enrichment classes.
Saturday programs offer a broader view of God's world through recreation, arts activities, martial arts, music and theater, bible-based instruction, and nutritional lunches. Relationships are cultivated through these activities that allow for continued ministry to the spiritual needs of children as they grow up in a confusing and difficult environment.
