WHERE ARE WE GOING?  Jinotega, a city of 100,000 in the northwest corner of Nicaragua.

WHEN ARE WE GOING?  Friday, August 8 through Friday, August 15, 2014

WHO DO WE WORK WITH?  Young Life (Vida Joven) missionaries.

WHERE WILL WE STAY and WHAT WILL WE DO?  We will be staying at the camp, La Finca in the beautiful mountains outside of Jinotega. We will be working on a clean water project and helping in the clinic.

WHO CAN GO?  FPC members are given priority. Space permitting, nonmembers may apply. Teens 15 and older may go with parental permission; 6th grade and above may accompany parents.

WHAT DOES IT COST?  $1,400 includes flight, ground transportation and all meals in country. Flight/travel health insurance is required. Spending money for snacks, souvenirs and meals on travel days.

DO I NEED A PASSPORT AND VACCINATIONS?  You need a valid US Passport with expiration date at least 6 months after August 15, 2014. Vaccinations required as posted at http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/nicaragua.htm.

WHAT DO I DO NOW?   Pray. This is an extremely rewarding mission trip, but it is also demanding – physically, mentally and spiritually.
