Laura and her husband Jose have lived in Norfolk, VA since 2001.   
Originally from Orlando, Florida, Laura earned both her bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Central Florida.  Her past work experience is in the area of social services with HIV, and foster care.  Laura also enjoyed her many years as a stay at home mom with their three lovely daughters: Sofia, Stella and Silvia. 
 
Laura and Jose have been members at FPC since 2001 where she has enjoyed serving as a deacon as well as a Sunday school teacher.
