Have you ever dreamed of visiting a church without all the pressures  . . . of visiting church?  We hope to offer you that experience at First Presbyterian!

Relax.  No name tags required.
When you attend your first service here, we hope you will accept one of the Visitor’s parking spaces in the lot adjacent to the church.  You may also park along most of the neighborhood streets.  As you enter the building, a Greeter will be glad to offer you directions to the sanctuary or assist you with the location of the nursery or a specific classroom.  If you elect to attend one of our many Sunday School classes, you may visit the Welcome Desk to learn more about the courses currently offered.

What about kids?
We love them!  First Presbyterian Church has a strong commitment to quality education, professionalism and safety of our children.  We offer nursery and childcare during each of our services throughout the week and Sunday School is available to children of all ages during the 9:30am and 11:00am services.  Your teens are also invited to attend any of the classes, services or activities offered through our dynamic youth ministry.

An insider’s perspective.
Visit any of our services and you will notice all the attributes of a large, extended family.  Our congregation is a diverse group that includes every age group – from infant to great grandparent.  As a result, you will find that we’re an active church that cares for the entire family.  Our members include individuals that have lived in this area their entire lives as well as those who have just recently relocated here  – and you’ll be welcomed too.

The Bible in a real world.
As you experience First Presbyterian Church, we hope you will be blessed by a sermon that is insightful, uplifting and filled with real-life applications. Worship is an important aspect of our church life, but you won’t find it limited to music on Sunday.  Our congregation is engaged in many local outreach activities as well as missions projects here in the U.S. and around the world.

Interested in learning more?  Considering membership?
Sign up for one of our FPC101 classes.  FPC101 is a casual gathering with our pastors where you will hear about the history of our church, our ministries and our missions.  More importantly, this is a place you can ask any question and expect an honest, forthright answer – whether it is about tithing, denominational issues, or simply what you need to do to join the church. Contact Jim Gates, Pastor of Evangelism or register online by selecting a class date below.

Upcoming FPC101 classes:
Classes are held on the 2nd Sunday of February, April, June, August, October and December. Register for the next class on our calendar.
