Children's Ministry Assistant
Position Objective: to provide part-time operational support to the Director of Children’s Ministries

An authentic relationship with Christ and a desire to nurture their walk with Christ through prayer and evidence of regular worship attendance
The Children’s Ministry Assistant will:

Works 15 hours per week at First Presbyterian Church, in the Children’s Ministry office, assisting/supporting the Director of Children’s Ministry

Supply Sunday school teachers or substitute teachers with curriculum and/or materials for weekly lessons

Prepare weekly worship packets prior to Sunday morning

Assist the Director of Children’s Ministry with mid-week ministry duties

Schedule nursery workers for Sunday mornings and other church functions requiring childcare

Work Sunday morning, managing and/or assisting nursery staff, assisting Sunday school teachers, overseeing Fellowship One check-in stations, and/or various other responsibilities
Summary of Qualifications:
This person will have a heart for both children and Christ, be flexible, and able to multi-task in order to provide support for First Presbyterian children’s ministries. The Children’s Ministry Assistant will work under the leadership of the Director of Children’s Ministry.
