NEST
In collaboration with the Norfolk Emergency Shelter Team (NEST), each year from November to April, local churches open their buildings and hearts to those in our community that are without a home. In the last five years, FPC has provided care for over 350 individuals.
About NEST: FPC partners with the Norfolk Emergency Shelter Team (NEST) to provide meals and shelter to homeless adults during the winter months. NEST is a coalition of churches that provides overnight shelter on a rotating basis. Transportation to the shelter is provided every evening during the winter months of November - April.
