MOPS (mothers of preschoolers)
What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers.” MOPS is about meeting the needs of every mom of a child from conception through kindergarten, not just the moms of preschoolers. It is a safe, loving environment where moms have the opportunity to make new friends, share experiences, and laugh together. They learn biblical principles pertaining to parenting and family life. Meetings include arts and crafts, snacks, and speakers. Whether you’re urban, suburban, rural, stay-at-home, working, teen, adoptive, special-needs, single, or married, MOPS is for you!MOPPETS is a quality childcare program held during MOPS meetings. Children experience a program in a preschool setting designed to meet their needs, provide fellowship, and a snack. The children are divided into age appropriate classes where loving and nurturing teachers help them experience God’s love for them through activities like games, stories, crafts, and music.
